Happy New Year!

The Hillsdale Alum Association does still exist, It has just been dormant for awhile!

BUT, I assure you that we are back and ready to go in the upcoming new year.

We would like to start off right away by inviting you all to attend an event at the Cato Institute on January 9th . P.J. O' Rourke, a noted author and political satirist will be giving a brief talk and signing copies of his new book, On the Wealth of Nations, at a reception that evening. We would love for you all to come, afterwards we will head over tothe nearby Capital City Brewing Company. Please be sure to register at the Cato page I linked to above.

P.J. O' Rourke spoke spoke at Hillsdale College last year at a CCA, and brought the house down. This small event will surely make you laugh as well.

Please join us, and come with suggestions, criticisms and ideas for the future of the alumni association.

We have big plans for the coming year and your input is very useful. We plan to begin meeting on a monthly basis, providing a mixture of networking, social outings, and intellectual discussion, allowing us to experience all that Washington has to offer.

We look forward to seeing you Tuesday January 9th at 6!
